Describe your volunteer activities in detail.
we went out into the area around the wash where there was arundo and random trash (a bed). we made our way as far as we could go and, on our way back, we picked up all the trash we could find. among that trash were clothes, shoes, carts, beds, tires, recyclables, bags, and much more. everything we picked up we gave to the trash guys and they took care of it from there. after that, we went out again to find more trash. our goal was to better the area and just clean it up, there is still a lot more to do though.
What were your accomplishments?
i felt accomplished when big things were carried from where we were. i had buckets, tires, a big pipe and saw others carrying beds, carts and i felt that getting those things out of there was important as well as the little things we could've missed. being there and cleaning the place up was an accomplishment.
What did you learn?
i learned that, even if we don't dump trash there, it can end up there and degrade the area. i also learned that passed that trash, there was a beautiful area. people should care for their environment and help it stay clean and natural.

Other Notes
There were many traces of animals, as shown, and also, although the end of the stream was dirty, much of the beginning was a beautiful site. trash, graffiti and random items can also be seen, showing traces of humans.
