Describe your volunteer activities in detail.
During the temescal cleanup, my group(David, Janell, Mary) and I found a ton of ripped plastic bags, stuffed animals, cans, beer bottles, shopping carts, potato chip bags, and clothes.
What were your accomplishments?
My group felt accomplished after filling about 3 bags individually; it was interesting when we would find shopping
carts because we wouldn't expect that at all. I also accomplished great footage from my camera, that may
be good for future videos that will help promote cleaning the environment.
What did you learn?
I learned that trash travels everywhere and it could end up building up and become hidden; plastic
is significantly found everywhere, for example the plastic grocery bags were everywhere ripped and
caught onto tree branches. I hope that in the future we get to participate more of these cleanups.

This was an interesting experience because of the amount of trash I found; I feel like we have to constantly
do this to reduce as much trash as possible; I'm sure to participate in more of these clean-ups they are fun!
