Describe your volunteer activities in detail.
Arrived at area around 7:20, checked in and received a bag and a pair of gloves.
After, we broke off into groups then searched and picked up trash.
What were your accomplishments?
I filled about 11 bags thoroughly of trash, dug up a shopping cart, and carried styrofoam. I was shocked to see the unity of all the people at temescal, and one of the biggest accomplishments was being able to be apart of something so great.
What did you learn?
I learned that every plastic bag that is lost must end up somewhere, most likely in places that have a lot of bushes where it could tug onto and be stuck.
