Describe your volunteer activities in detail.
we were each handed a plastic bag and gloves and were sent out into the wash to pick up anything that could be hazardous to the environment.
What were your accomplishments?
We collected a lot of trash, filling up about 2 large bins of our bags. We also found shopping carts and old matresses and tires
What did you learn?
I learned that no matter what you do with your trash it will always end up somewhere else so be careful of what you throw away

Overall it was a great experience.

Greentorch photoluminescent exit signs help the environment by using no electricity, no batteries, and last longer than other self-luminous exit signs. Gambassa's "Energy efficiency and exit signs" project curriculum teaches students how to generate income by using available utility retrofit rebate programs to replace incandescent exit signs. Earn while you learn.
