Water Conservation and Local Water Use
What related problem/issue will you present?
The rate of water used as well as the solutions to stop water wasting and ways to curb excess water use.
What supporting facts characterize the problem?
The amount of water used in a 10 min shower, a bath, toilet and how much ecofriendly appliances save. How much water can be saved with cutting bathing time to five minutes max. The repercussions of using too much water on one's life as well as the affects on their local community.
What solution will you offer?
Change behavior as well as adopting new habits in water use. Simple tasks that can be used such as shutting off the water during the time in which someone brushes their teeth. Or tasks such as limiting the amout of time spent bathing, wasting excess water by watering lawns during times when the sun is up, when irrigation is most effective before the sun rises and after it sets.
What action or actions do you want people to take as a result of your lesson?
Use less water and push for more effective water legislation Do \their part, by limiting the amount of water they use on a daily basis. Try to discover more efficient ways of using less water in a more effective way, when compared to previous methods. Spread the knowledge they learned today, to those within thier family and their community
