my lesson will focus on solar energy.
What related problem/issue will you present?
a related problem was the use of fossil fuels which needs to be changed intosolar energy which is more sustainable.
What supporting facts characterize the problem?
fossil fuels contribue and release into green house gases which harms the earth, which could easily be tranfered into solar energy.
What solution will you offer?
you could easily use solar energy. energyfor your house you could use many things such as solar panels to transfer your heat and produce energyfor your home.
What action or actions do you want people to take as a result of your lesson?
i would like them to take in the consideration to help the environment and try to lower their amount of fossil fuels and other energy sources. Also take in the importance of having a safe environment for more generations to come and be safe.

On earth day we presented to the children what solar energy was and how you can use it. First what we did with the kids is presented a tic tac toe board using definitions relating to our topic. Then we showed the children what was used intomaking a solar over and how each part was an essential into making a working solar over. After that we told them what solar energy was and how it is useful to the environment and how using fossil fuels can damage the environment. Lastly we had the kids make their very own solar oven out of pizza boxes, and they got to see how it is used in the sun and that it actually works.
Please describe in detail suggestions you have for improving your presentation if it were to be done in the future.
i think what we could have made our presentation better by giving marshmellows to all the kids. and also i think that we could have had less talking and had more interesting activities so they would be more into the project.
